Page 4 of 4 | The Falcon pair made their first appearance on the IPMS Brampton club display at ScaleModelWorld 2008, alongside a Venezuelan F-16, the club display theme being ‘The Name’s the Same’. The models then returned to the bench for the door outline painting session, and other finishing touches, such as application of bare metal foil on the wing leading edges and intakes, as a definite improvement over the temporary silver paint finish. Despite the irritations during the build, these Falcons are a very welcome addition to the VIP transport wing of my SAAF collection. Having done the BBJ in 1/72, a Cessna Citation II in 1/72 would be most welcome now, to complete the current Governmental airline line-up! | | Falcon 50 of the SAAF
