All attending members will meet up in Telford as some will be combining the Internationals with either a holiday or business trip.  In his address as the New Chairman, Colin Burgess pointed out that he recently celebrated his 60th birthday and would not easily stand for a future term. It is therefore of vital importance to look at possible candidates for this post over the next several months leading up to the Nats in 2009. IPMS Vaal then received a vote of confidence for most enjoyable and well organised Nationals. It worked like clock work with everything in one area an added bonus. Due to work commitments by members of IPMS Vaal, most of the work was carried out by Faan Venter. A man with huge shoulders in every sense – still he was instrumental in the success the event turned out to be. Martin Blundell was thanked for his commitment to attend the SA Nats all the way from the UK.

Under General, Chris Baxter asked if anyone was unhappy about any aspect to please state it and not use various forums for this purpose as it does not lead to the problem being positively addressed with an attempt at a solution.
