Showcasing the artillery was in the form of a “mini-war” with various aspects relating to the modern battlefield. In sharp contrast elements from a “rag-tag” army was demonstrated as a pantomime. All great fun to the crowd as this “army” clearly lacked discipline - although they had some in genius fire power with a makeshift mortar unit and a machine gun emplacement on a bakkie (small truck).
