Rocket fire

Two  Bateleur 40 x 127mm multiple mobile rocket launcher systems fired  a full complement of rockets in succession to engage a vast area over a considerable distance. This remains an impressive sight. After the helicopters removed the mobile forces and their equipment it was time for the grand finale. Parked in the distance were four Bateleurs each fully loaded with rockets. What an impressive sight when all four started firing at the same time to engage a target in the distance. This was very well received by the attending crowd.

A day of superior fire power and definitely one to attend by anyone with an interest in the military. The firepower of the “Gunners” never disappoints and remains an impressive sight. However, this is not Hollywood, the firepower demo is very loud and over an extended period of time – ear protection is essential.
