Up until the release of the Cheetah C in 1/72 by High Planes Model Kits, the only option available to the modeller was scratchbuild/conversion.

In the box:

The box contains a multi-media kit. Main components like the fuselage; wings etc are moulded in a light blue coloured styrene. The undercarriage is done in white metal. Components to form the cockpit, including the ejection seat are casted in resin. This medium is also used for the very neat 9K50 exhaust. A toned down decal sheet and a vac formed canopy are also included. Comprehensive instructions are supplied with the kit.
