 Meaning:

 Alert

All operational Cheetah aircraft is in service with 2 Sqdn. However, at times some of these aircraft are used for various tests with Denel and/or TFDC. The original Cheetah, no 845 is permanently based at TFDC in addition to the permanently based Cheetah C no 344, also used for system testing.
